Quartermaster Drover and R.M. Williams
INEOS Automotive has announced a new partnership with iconic Australian footwear and clothing brand R.M. Williams, by creating the custom-built Grenadier Quartermaster named ‘The Drover’.
‘The Drover’ is at the forefront of an innovative retail and brand activation platform for R.M. Williams connecting communities through shared experiences in some of Australia’s most remote heartland locations. ‘The Drover’ name reflects the vehicle’s capability to cover long distances and is a nod to R.M. Williams’ iconic Drover hand-crafted leather belt. ‘The Drover’ features customised artwork and graphics throughout, mirroring the iconic colours of R.M. Williams.
INEOS Australia delivered ‘The Drover,’ the second ‘special project’ built for adventure and utility, following the successful debut of its ‘Kaiju’ Quartermaster in late-2024.
A Shared Commitment
For INEOS Automotive, the partnership reflects its mission to support those who rely on robust 4x4s in their everyday lives. For R.M. Williams, it continues a legacy born in the outback, where craftsmanship and resilience are the cornerstones of society.
Justin Hocevar, Regional Director APAC, INEOS Automotive said: “Through this partnership, we are bringing two great brands together to serve regional and rural Australians. The Grenadier Quartermaster is built for more, and by pairing it with R.M. Williams, we’re paying homage to Australia’s heartland with durability, craftsmanship and respect for the people who make it so unique. First with our Rural Aid partnership and now with R.M. Williams, we are continuing to strengthen our ranks with strong Australian businesses who value community.”
Kai Tunley, Chief Marketing Officer at R.M. Williams said: “We’re proud to partner with INEOS Grenadier for our adventures, putting the Quartermaster’s legendary capabilities to good use on our journeys across the country. Both brands have been built with an appreciation for the rugged, diverse landscape of the Australian outback and together, we’re embracing this spirit as we take R.M. Williams deep into the Australian heartland.”
