FOTON Australia has announced key specification and pricing for the all-new hybrid FOTON TUNLAND, the newest player in Australia’s Ute segment.

Joining the emerging category that sits between traditional dual-cab Utes and full-size pick-up trucks, the FOTON TUNLAND offers the best of both worlds delivering the strength and space of a larger workhorse while maintaining the practicality and efficiency of a traditional Ute.

With pricing now confirmed from $39,9901, customers are invited to register their interest in the all-new TUNLAND ahead of first vehicle arrivals from Q3 2025. Entering as a bold new force in the Australian Ute segment, the next-generation TUNLAND has been engineered from the ground up to challenge convention.

It draws on FOTON’s global truck-building expertise to deliver commercial-grade durability, real-world capability with SUV-like comfort – all wrapped in a value-packed offering tailored to Australian drivers.

Available in both 4×2 and 4×4 configurations, the TUNLAND range is powered by a muscular 2.0-litre Aucan turbo-diesel engine paired with 48V mild-hybrid technology and a refined ZF 8-speed automatic transmission. This proven combination balances performance, efficiency and everyday usability, and enables a braked towing capacity of up to 3,500kg2, making it ideal for hauling heavier loads with confidence.

Australia’s newest hybrid Ute

Australia’s newest hybrid Ute will be offered in two grades – V7 & V9 – delivering distinct personalities to suit different needs:

  • The V7 focuses on core durability and commercial usability, ideal for fleets and trades with over 1,000kg payload.
  • The V9 introduces a higher level of refinement for diverse lifestyle needs, featuring upgraded multi-link rear suspension, providing a smoother ride and the highest levels of comfort and technology

Additionally, the all-new TUNLAND will proudly launch with a comprehensive seven-year/unlimited kilometre warranty3, providing added peace of mind for customers and enhancing the ownership experience from day one.

Coinciding with this milestone, FOTON Australia is pleased to confirm a rapidly expanding national retailer network, with representation already secured across New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia, ACT and Western Australia, with further growth planned ahead of first vehicle arrivals.
